Corporate Resiliency Training

Flow State and Peak Performance

This seminar provides cutting edge information about the psychology of peak performance in attendees professional and private lives, creating resiliency by strong concentration and increasing personal control.  The “Flow” is based on the concept of neuroplasticity, which is the capacity of neural networks to change their connections and behaviors in response to new information, sensory stimulation, development, injury, and learning disabilities.  Under the right conditions, we have the ability to utilize the brain’s plasticity and re-energize that machinery by strengthening the connections of neurons that are constantly working together based on sensory information, cognitive patterns, and all elements of experience.  Although the brain is not a muscle, the “use it or lose it” principle certainly applies.  When we are alert, engaged, and motivated, the brain actively grows and rewires itself in response to stimulation and learning new information.

The training is an interactive forum in which techniques for mind and body optimization are learned by understanding how the power of brain plasticity can help adult minds grow and acquire new abilities.  The adult brain can be developed and strengthened throughout the majority of our lifetime.  Participants will learn how to manage stress and enhance resiliency through a combination of cognitive-behavioral training and mindfulness techniques.  There is a strong link between mindfulness and productivity in regards to employee engagement, decision making, rational thinking, and creativity.  Also discussed will be powerful goal-setting exercises, managing difficult work situations, and effective communication.

Participants will learn:

  • How to apply mindfulness techniques with a level of efficiency that fosters creativity, enhances personal relationships, decreases stress, and builds the foundation for professional success.

  • Skills to change thinking and behavior which will increase resiliency, environmental adaptability, and lasting changes to mood and functioning.

  • How to shorten the refractory period of an emotional reaction to initiate lasting changes in temperament.

  • What Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is, how it works, and how you can apply its principles to improve your life both personally and professionally.

  • Information about the “gut-brain axis” and the close relationship between our gut microbiota and mental health.
